The Bahrenfelder Trabrennbahn is a truly exceptional and historic venue for conferences, summer parties and Christmas celebrations in Hamburg. The in-house beach club with deck chairs, table football and barbecue and an exclusive view of the extensive infield is predestined for secluded summer parties. In winter, the private Christmas market with swinging grills, fire baskets and crȇpe stands gives any team or corporate event a cozy swing toward the holidays.
You enter the venue through the modern foyer with reception counter, which is suitable for elegant receptions for up to 350 people. On the first floor there are various event rooms with projectors and screens and a disco that has already become legendary.
A staircase leads from the foyer to the second floor gallery. The gallery offers a fantastic view over the racecourse for up to 1000 guests. When the weather is nice, the outdoor terrace in front can also be used. In addition, the Sulky Lounge is located on the second floor for smaller events.
If you include the infield of this unusual location in addition to the grandstand building and the spacious outdoor terrace, no event is too big here. Whether 8,000 people on the so-called “Lurup Arch” or significantly more on the entire infield – the team of Mignon Genuss & Spektakel will play this entire racecourse for your large event entirely according to your wishes.
The in front of the grandstand is completely asphalted and 7,500 square meters large. Due to the terraced structure, the course can be easily divided into individual areas. The Luruper Bogen is the area behind the racecourse. Trees and hedges create an idyllic park ambience. Up to 20,000 visitors can be accommodated on this part of the special location. Sporting events and other events like to be held in the 50,000 sq. ft. infield.
