Together with its initiator Frank Lienert, the fiylo team has been organizing the Location Award from the very beginning, actively promoting the visibility and further development of extraordinary event venues. Today, the Location Award stands for quality, passion, and excellence in the event industry like hardly any other award.

An independent expert jury of experienced professionals from the event industry evaluates the applications and selects the nominees and winners in each category.

The award offers winners and nominees a valuable platform to present their capabilities to a broad professional audience and sustainably strengthen their market position.

The festive award ceremony brings together venue operators, event planners, service providers, and industry experts, providing inspiration, networking, and new impulses.

Since the Location Award 2023, a daytime event called “Seconds to Wow” with top speakers, workshops, and impulse lectures has been held before the evening award ceremony. Renowned speakers and high-profile personalities enriched the program, including SMUDO from Die Fantastischen Vier, Mike Woodhams – star from Britain’s Got Talent – as well as Tobias Ahrens (Circus-Theater Roncalli), business futurist Sven Göth, and many more.
