Wasserschloss Hülsede, located just 30 minutes from Hanover’s city center and only five minutes from the A2 motorway, is a wedding venue that captures the hearts of couples instantly. Here, weddings truly feel like a fairytale. A short walk through the romantic castle park leads directly to the village church, making it easy to hold a traditional church ceremony. Civil or free wedding ceremonies can also take place in one of the four historic barns belonging to the castle.
A Romantic Venue between Deister and Süntel
The castle features several elegant rooms that are perfect for stylish wedding celebrations. In good weather, guests are welcomed in the picturesque castle courtyard. If the weather turns rainy or cool, the celebration moves indoors to the reception hall with its crackling fireplace and the atmospheric Grey Vault Hall.
The wedding reception for 40 to 110 guests then takes place on the first floor in the Great Knight’s Hall and Small Knight’s Hall, offering a combined area of about 300 square meters.
