The new heart of Potsdam beats directly on the shores of Lake Tiefen. On an area of 12 ha, historic buildings were renovated here, at Schiffbauergasse, and filled with new life by an art and cultural scene as well as innovative high-tech companies. One of the historic buildings is the Schinkelhalle which was constructed in 1823 according to the plans of Karl Friedrich Schinkel. It is one of the oldest and undoubtedly most impressive buildings on site.
Above the 700 m² wooden floor, there is a truss made of solid pine beams, which gives the hall its special flair. Today a variable venue can be found within the classicist building, which is the ideal setting for unforgettable private and business events. Benefit from the modern infrastructure and flexible options to perform concerts or festivals or plan a great party. Whether it is a cinema event or gala dinner, you and your 400 to 600 guests will certainly have a great time!
The scenery is also ideal for trade fairs, product presentations and exhibitions. You can organise conferences and enjoy the best transport connections. Guests arriving by car will also find ample parking facilities.
