At phaeno – located directly at the ICE train station – you can experience over 350 phenomena to touch and try out. Tornadoes, extraordinary optical illusions and glowing gases awaken enthusiasm for scientific and technical topics.

Pritzker Prize-winning star architect Zaha Hadid designed the impressive building, which is probably the largest walk-in sculpture in Germany. An artificial landscape with craters, terraces and caves awaits you, providing unique impressions and experiences.
Meetings and celebrations at phaeno
At phaeno, there are extraordinary (conference) rooms of different sizes. The forum of ideas offers space for 100 people, the banquet level for around 150 people at the standing reception (with fewer seats) and the science theater (auditorium) for up to 200 guests.
Upon request, phaeno will provide the required seating as well as modern technical equipment.
