Isabell Werth is a German dressage competitor. She has won eight Olympic gold medals and a total of fourteen Olympic medals (8 gold and 6 silver), is a nine-time World Champion, twenty-one-time European Champion, and fourteen-time German Champion. She holds the record as the most successful female and dressage rider worldwide.

Isabell Werth made her debut in a senior championship in 1989, immediately securing team gold with Weingart. This marked the beginning of an extraordinary career. At 17, dressage coach Dr. Uwe Schulten-Baumer recognized her talent from the Lower Rhine area. Riding his horses and with his support, she quickly rose to the top of the global dressage scene. Her first Olympic team gold came in Barcelona in 1992, followed by additional team and individual medals.
