Phoenix des Lumières for events in Dortmund
Since 2023, Phoenix des Lumières has been located in the historic Phoenixhalle on the site of the former Phoenix West blast furnace complex. The digital art center presents monumental immersive exhibitions dedicated to renowned artists from art history as well as contemporary art. This extraordinary combination of industrial heritage and digital art creates a distinctive setting for events.
Events in a new dimension
Whether launch and brand events, corporate events, presentations, Christmas parties, exclusive dinners and fine dining, cultural events or film and photo projects – the approximately 2,200 m² venue can accommodate events with up to 1,200 guests. The impressive industrial architecture and immersive installations offer a wide range of possibilities for showcasing brands, products and individual event concepts.
A particular highlight is the interplay of space, light, imagery and sound: Large-scale projections covering 5,600 m² and the immersive sound system transform the historic hall into an impressive experiential environment. This makes Phoenix des Lumières not only an extraordinary setting for events and presentations, but also a versatile location for film and photo productions. On request, an exclusive viewing of the current show outside regular opening hours can also be incorporated into the event concept.
Located only around 15 minutes from Dortmund city center and centrally in the Ruhr region, Phoenix des Lumières is also easily accessible from cities such as Essen, Bochum, Duisburg, Düsseldorf and Cologne.
Event organizers receive support throughout the planning and implementation process, from the initial inquiry through to the event itself. Together with long-standing partners, individual event concepts can be developed and tailored to the specific requirements of each event.
