Your event on the MS Etzel
When the MS Etzel was built as a passenger ship in 1934, it offered a worldwide innovation with its hydraulic controllable-pitch propeller. To this day, a wind of distinction still blows on board, for example during an aperitif cruise or an event. Book the floating location for a romantic wedding or an enjoyable family celebration or spend inspiring hours with your team when implementing an unusual meeting.
The floating event location
Since its general overhaul in April 2019, the ship operated by the MS Etzel cooperative shines in new splendour and glides even more stylishly through the glittering waves of Lake Zurich. For your event, you can be picked up at one of its boat stations or simply board the ship at its home port, Zurich’s Bürkliplatz.
The approximately 32-metre long MS Etzel has a saloon with capacity for up to 52 people. Up to 100 passengers can take part in an aperitif cruise.
Services offered
Of course you will be provided with culinary delicacies on request. Our proven catering partners will prepare all dishes for you, from a warming soup to a multi-course menu, according to your wishes. Alternatively, you can simply bring your own catering.
As a special feature, it is possible to take a look into the captain’s wheelhouse during the cruise, take over the helm briefly and take a photo. All questions about technology will certainly be answered here. Friendly staff will look after you reliably for the entire duration of your stay.
