Motorworld Village Metzingen for Events near Stuttgart
Historic brick façades, impressive halls and authentic industrial charm: Motorworld Village Metzingen offers event planners an extraordinary setting for events, film and photo productions, presentations and Christmas parties.
Set on the 26,000 m² grounds of a former forge, the venue comprises eleven listed historic buildings that have been carefully revitalised, combining industrial architecture with modern event facilities. A total of 5,000 m² of indoor event space and 3,500 m² of outdoor space is available.
What makes the venue particularly special is that instead of a conventional event hall, organisers have an entire ensemble of distinctive spaces at their disposal. The centrepiece for large-scale productions is the Schmiededom, offering 1,500 m² of floor space and a ceiling height of around 14 metres. Depending on the event format, it can accommodate up to 2,300 guests. Ten entrances and an access point up to four metres high even allow trucks to enter the hall – a major advantage for elaborate productions, product presentations and customised set-ups. Ambient lighting and a permanently installed rig are available, while an LED wall can be added if required.
Further options include the Alte Dreherei with 611 m², the Alte Lackiererei with 245 m², and a combination of both spaces offering a total of 856 m². For smaller events, distinctive spaces such as the Eberhard Mahle Lounge, Amboss Lounge, Tonnenhalle, Green Box, Artur Unger Lounge and Friedrichs Barber are available. The variety of settings makes it possible to combine receptions, presentations, dinners, networking and productions within a single venue.
For film and photo shoots, the historic ensemble also provides an impressive variety of backdrops – from a raw industrial look and authentic workshop atmosphere to versatile halls and outdoor areas that can be individually staged. For product presentations, the spaces that can be accessed by vehicles are particularly attractive.
During the festive season, the venue’s industrial character can be combined with a Christmas atmosphere. For corporate Christmas parties, Motorworld Village Metzingen offers packages for 40 to 250 guests, featuring a choice of catering concepts and optional entertainment elements.
A selection of catering partners, event technology and furniture is available for event planning and production. Depending on the space, projection, audio and ambient lighting technology is either included or can be provided by technical partners. Wi-Fi, parking facilities and accessible areas are also available.
Motorworld Village Metzingen is located close to Outletcity Metzingen and is easily accessible for guests travelling from outside the region. Stuttgart Airport is around 30 km away, while Stuttgart city centre is approximately 37 km from the venue. Metzingen railway station is about a twelve-minute walk away, and parking is available directly at the venue.
