Jonas Geissler – Why the future of businesses depends on time.

Jonas Geissler is a foremost authority on Time Management within organisations. As a SPIEGEL bestselling author, speaker, and organisational consultant, he merges scientific research with practical insights – reframing one of today’s key questions:

How can companies achieve effectiveness without exhausting themselves?

Jonas Geissler challenges outdated beliefs about time and explains why time cannot simply be managed; rather, it is the crucial factor for innovation, health, and lasting success.

Jonas Geissler Lecture topics

  • Time is Honey – Maximising Your Time

Busy schedules, mental chaos, and frantic pauses? Jonas Geissler demonstrates how ongoing stress can be transformed into focus, fatigue into meaningful productivity, and fragmented tasks into efficiency and satisfaction.

  • AI takes time – Why the success of Artificial Intelligence depends on time culture

More speed, more output, more tools – yet time still feels scarce? This presentation reveals how to avoid the efficiency trap and how organisations can leverage AI to foster innovation, impact, and effectiveness instead of overload, intensification, and haste.

  • Everything has its time – only I don’t have any! – escaping the rat race and regaining control

“I actually lead differently, but rarely get the chance.” Leadership in constant reaction mode: dictated by others, scheduled, with no space for what truly matters. Jonas Geissler explains why leadership is primarily about managing time and how operational chaos can be converted into effective leadership.

  • Are we still ticking over correctly? – why our health is connected to how we manage time

Constant rushing, packed calendars, yet declining energy. This talk illustrates how time pressure can be reversed into balance, rushing into sustainable effectiveness, and lack of time into genuine satisfaction.

  • Time for innovation – why new ideas require a different time logic

Continuous pressure leaves no space for new ideas. Jonas Geissler shows how operational density can be turned into breathing room, how busy days can become fulfilling, and how this creates the foundation for true innovation.

His core message: “It’s all a question of time.”

Whether companies aim to be more innovative, productive, or healthier – their success depends on how they manage time.

However, this is precisely where many organisations struggle: they accelerate processes, increase workloads, and push efficiency – losing exactly what they intended to gain: focus, clarity, and effectiveness. In a work environment filled with constant stress and endless meetings, Jonas Geissler demonstrates how companies can regain real impact: through focus instead of frenzy, clear structures instead of constant availability, a modern approach to time, and value creation instead of exhaustion.

The rapid progress of artificial intelligence makes this issue even more urgent: never before has it been easier to speed up processes, generate content, and prepare decisions. Yet this presents both opportunity and risk. Those who use this speed merely to do more in less time worsen existing problems.

Conversely, those who intentionally shape this acceleration can create a new quality of work: greater focus, clarity, and real impact. Jonas Geissler explains how organisations are using this acceleration to fundamentally transform time management – gaining a genuine competitive edge.

Time is not just ‘money’ – a means of payment – but above all ‘honey’: a vital resource. And it should be treated accordingly.

So what is the story behind this phenomenon, which seems increasingly scarce despite new time being created daily? How has our relationship with time evolved – and what solutions do organisations need today?

In his presentations, Jonas Geissler blends academic rigor with practical application. He highlights which time management skills truly matter in a fast-paced world and how a successful time culture can be concretely developed.

His talks offer:

  • immediately applicable strategies for enhanced productivity and calm
  • clear insights for more effective teamwork and improved decision-making
  • new perspectives that foster lasting cultural transformation

He achieves what few speakers do: inspiring, challenging, and motivating simultaneously. With sharp analysis, light humor, and practical tools, the ‘Zeitweise’ ensures his audience not only thinks differently but also works differently.
