Dr. Jacob Beautemps is dedicated to communicating science and inspiring enthusiasm for it. He earned his Master of Education in Physics and Social Sciences from the University of Cologne and completed his doctorate at the Institute for Physics and its Didactics.

Having finished his Master of Education in Physics and Social Sciences at the University of Cologne, Jacob Beautemps is currently working on his doctoral thesis there. His mission is to engage young people with science. He has appeared on camera in programs such as “5 gegen Jauch” (RTL), “Science for Future” (ARD), and “Stern TV” (RTL) to achieve this.

In his latest book, “Rethinking our future,” Dr. Jacob Beautemps, a scientist and science YouTuber, takes readers on an exciting exploration of groundbreaking innovations and the brilliant minds behind them. Jacob Beautemps is also conducting research at the University of Cologne focused on educational videos on YouTube. The project aims to develop artificial intelligence that analyzes viewing behavior and learning outcomes from videos, helping to create a guide for what constitutes an effective educational video on YouTube.

Breaking Lab

Breaking Lab presents current events and future topics in scientific language that is easy to understand. The program emphasizes transparency, supporting every claim with a source. Topics include “What if we were all vegan?”, “Can we adapt to climate change?”, and “The theory of relativity explained simply.”
