Opened in 1956, the building complex combines its distinctive architecture with modern event, stage and media technology, providing a professional setting for a wide variety of event formats.
A large part of the ensemble, built according to anthroposophical architectural principles and featuring numerous works of art, has been listed as a historic monument since 1987. In the early 1990s, the expressionist architecture was complemented by a modern congress area. Today, 14 event rooms and five large halls are available for events.

The five large halls feature professional stage and media technology as well as outstanding acoustics. The Beethoven Hall, in particular, provides a prestigious setting for events with special requirements. Flexible exhibition areas offer additional possibilities for individual event concepts.
Several entrance areas as well as direct access to storage and kitchen facilities facilitate efficient event logistics. Thanks to the venue’s spatial layout, multiple events can also take place simultaneously.
