Getting Married at Erlebnis-Zoo
Take the plunge! Get married at Erlebnis-Zoo Hannover and experience an unforgettably beautiful celebration in an extraordinary setting. In the stylish registry office at Meyers Hof, you and your guests will be welcomed by the registrar every second Friday of the month.
Zoo admission for the two of you and up to 16 additional guests is already included in the registry office fee.
How about a romantic, rustic wedding at Meyers Hof with a welcome from Farmer Meyer and a very special animal encounter? Or an exotic celebration in the Indian jungle palace? From selecting the menu to the music – we organize everything for you and according to your wishes.
Alte Werkstatt (max. 33 guests)
Probably Hannover’s most authentic event venue! Where Farmer Meyer and his hardworking farmhands once maintained flails and scythes, you and your guests now celebrate in a lively and typically rustic atmosphere. Charming details from days long past evoke rural idyll: tractor seats have become chairs, the workbench has become the bar. The historic distilling apparatus serves as a tap.
Meyers Kammerfach (max. 44 guests)
The heart of Meyers Hof is the old Meyer guesthouse. Farmer Meyer makes his cozy living quarters available to guests. This so-called “Kammerfach” is located directly behind the fireplace. Oak beams, bull’s-eye windows and old family photos give the room a special atmosphere. And in front of the Kammerfach – right in Farmer Meyer’s herb garden – the large sun terrace invites you to enjoy rural idyll in the heart of the city.
The Kammerfach can be divided into two separate rooms if required. Perfect for family celebrations, smaller workshops, meetings and seminars.
Captains Room (max. 46 guests)
Captain Henry Charters once sailed the Canada-South Africa route with his freighter, the “Yukon Queen”. When the ship ran aground in the harbor, Charters literally dropped anchor in Yukon Bay. Henry’s former office with balcony and the best view over the harbor was converted into an event space with great attention to detail. Not only “old sea dogs” and world sailors will be thrilled to host events here… up to 46 guests enjoy maritime flair and a wonderful day!
Tante Millis Futtertrog (max. 100 guests)
Celebrate like in a storybook – right in the middle of Helme Heine’s Mullewapp! Where young families experience the adventures of Johnny Mauser, Franz von Hahn and the chubby Waldemar during the day, a wonderful fantasy world opens up to you after the zoo closes for magnificent events that will delight adults as well. Inside, chairs and tables are arranged in cozy boxes, outside on the large terrace water splashes from bucket to bucket and the three toboggan runs guarantee a lively atmosphere.
Indian Palace Hall (max. 100 guests)
Transport your guests to the land of vibrant colors and magnificent celebrations: Welcome to the Palace Hall, the “pearl” of the magnificent Indian jungle palace. The exotic setting, exclusive atmosphere and unique view of the sacred Hanuman langurs guarantee you and your guests an enchanting evening.
Meyers Festscheune (max. 150 guests)
One of Lower Saxony’s most beautiful village idylls is located right in the heart of the state capital: Meyers Hof at Erlebnis-Zoo Hannover. And there’s no question that in the countryside, people know how to celebrate properly. The impressive ensemble of centuries-old half-timbered houses, the rustic atmosphere of the festival barn, the warm hospitality and the cozy sun terrace make your evening event a successful celebration.
Yukon Market Hall (max. 400 guests)
Drop anchor and board the culinary heart of Yukon Bay. Where proud fishermen presented their greatest catches at the beginning of the last century, delicious delicacies now await you and your guests. The historic market hall of the maritime harbor town with its faded signs and magnificent relics from days long past provides the perfect setting for a perfect celebration.
Maharaja’s State Hall (max. 450 guests)
Enter the Maharaja’s State Hall and be enchanted by wall-high Indian paintings, mosaic-decorated columns, delicate floral ornaments and the sparkle of thousands of small gold plates. In this breathtaking atmosphere, you and your guests will experience an unforgettable “festival for all the senses”.
Café Kifaru (max. 450 guests)
Welcome to Africa! Right on the banks of the Zambezi lies Café Kifaru, built from mighty tree trunks, decorated with colorful murals and adorned with hundreds of small lamps. In this wild-romantic setting, you and your guests will spend an unforgettable celebration under the African starry sky!
