ELTZHOF for Events in Cologne Porz-Wahn
The ELTZHOF welcomes you to a modernised historic estate with an adjacent castle, providing ideal conditions for a wide variety of events. As one of the City of Cologne’s designated “Ambiente Trauorte” (special wedding ceremony venues), the former moated Schloss Wahn, with its garden hall and castle courtyard, is an ideal setting for stylish wedding ceremonies – just a few steps from the Eltzhof.
Versatile Event Venue with Well-Equipped Rooms
A variety of event spaces are available for groups of 10 to 600 people, along with 150 free parking spaces. The Brunnenraum offers a cosy and intimate atmosphere for smaller groups, while the Sälchen, combined with the Brunnenraum, can accommodate up to 100 guests. For quieter gatherings, the seminar room provides space for up to 30 people.
Located in the opposite wing of the building is the Theatersaal with foyer. While the foyer primarily serves as the entrance and reception area for the theatre hall, its approximately 180 m² can also be booked as a separate event space. The Theatersaal is the largest venue at the Eltzhof, offering 270 m² across two levels, a 40 m² stage and a surrounding gallery.
Corporate events, readings, concerts, TV productions, comedy shows, theatre performances, weddings, parties and many other formats can be hosted here. From banquet tables and beer-hall seating to theatre-style arrangements, the spaces offer a high degree of flexibility. A particular advantage is the permanently installed sound and lighting technology on the upper gallery.
All areas – including the hall, foyer, Brauhaus, Sälchen and seminar room – can be separated from one another and each has its own access to the spacious courtyard, which can be used for sparkling wine receptions, special acts or BBQs.
Culinary Delights
All food is prepared in-house by the independent 12-person kitchen team. A variety of buffet and barbecue concepts are available, ranging from hearty BBQ specialities to finger food – individually tailored to each event.
