Direktorenhaus im Monforts Quartier as a venue in Mönchengladbach
The Direktorenhaus at Monforts Quartier offers a historic yet versatile setting for your event. Receptions, gala dinners, presentations, photo shoots, film productions, civil wedding ceremonies followed by lively celebrations, milestone birthdays, Christmas parties and much more can be planned and realized together with our team. We are fortunate to offer a sophisticated industrial backdrop that creates truly extraordinary experiences.
Built in 1892 and formerly the headquarters of the Monforts machine factory, the venue also gives you the opportunity to include the adjacent Maschinenhalle, which is directly accessible from the building. The hall features an impressive exhibition of historic weaving looms and textile machines. Please note: this is not a museum but a technical workshop – most of the machines can still be put into operation.
Your guests enter the building through the Reception Hall. Festive banquets, stylish receptions as well as classic lectures or product presentations can be held here. Depending on the chosen setup, the space accommodates up to 150 guests.
Small but elegant – the Secretariat offers seating for up to twelve guests at a gala table. It is also frequently used as a cloakroom area. From here you can access either the Grand Director’s Office or the Reception Hall.
The Small Director’s Office is ideal for arranging a buffet or serving as a meeting room during business events. Of course, all areas can also be combined, allowing you to host your event throughout the entire Direktorenhaus – and even extend it into the Maschinenhalle, which can accommodate up to 800 guests.
For meetings and conferences, two additional meeting rooms are available for up to twelve or 60 participants, both conveniently connected to the rest of the venue.
