Enjoy the historic ambience in this early medieval venue, which was newly opened in 2021 following extensive modernisation. The town’s oldest landmark also boasts a magnificent panoramic view over the old town; after all, it is Esslingen’s highest vantage point.

The Burgstube, bathed in natural light, can accommodate up to 44 guests for a buffet banquet, allowing you to celebrate your occasion in style. Since October 2025, the venue has been complemented by the popular Turmsaal, which is suitable for banquets of up to 90 people.

If the younger guests fancy letting off some steam, the adjacent park is the ideal place for them. A stroll through the vineyards also makes for a lovely accompanying activity.

The venue has wheelchair-accessible entry, and you can also use the lift. The Dicke Turm is easily accessible via all transport links, and a public car park is within walking distance.
