21 gramm – Romantic Venue in Berlin Neukölln

The 21 gramm offers a modern, romantically inspired setting in a converted chapel for private or corporate events in Berlin’s trendy district of Neukölln with its young, creative and multicultural audience.

The large interior of this listed building is reminiscent of a three-aisled church, and the numerous large columns paired with the almost entirely self-designed and built vintage-style furniture give the event space a very special charm.

In addition to the impressive architecture, the 21 gramm’s stunning wine garden delights visitors. Modeled after an overgrown Tuscan garden, it offers many beautiful backdrops for photos. It is therefore no surprise that this exceptional event venue is also frequently used for photo shoots.

Family celebrations, weddings and corporate events benefit not only from a stylish ambience, but also from competent support provided by the 21 gramm team, which has been working together for 12 years. The staff are happy to take care of all aspects of your event, such as the appropriate culinary accompaniment and harmonious decoration.

Why 21gramm? A hauntingly beautiful history

Strictly speaking, the venue is a former mortuary that has been converted into a restaurant. According to a study from the 1920s, 21 grams is the weight of the soul when it leaves the body during the dying process. Jeremias Stüer and Daniel Kalthoff, the creators of this exceptional venue, have set themselves the goal of giving the space and the food served on site a soul.
