Johanniskirche for Events in Magdeburg
Where historic church walls meet modern event culture, unforgettable moments are created. The Johanniskirche in Magdeburg is Germany’s oldest merchants’ church and features a harmonious architectural composition spanning different eras, from the Middle Ages to the modern day.
As the setting for significant historical milestones – Martin Luther preached here, while Otto von Guericke, inventor of the air pump, worked in the church tower during his time as mayor of Magdeburg – the venue provides an inspiring backdrop for special events.
Located in the heart of the city, this impressive historic building provides an extraordinary setting for festive banquets and galas, conferences, incentives, presentations and exhibitions as well as concerts and shows.
